Overeaters Anonymous – Eastern Wisconsin (OA MAI) – a new, private Facebook group for OA members!

After months of thoughtful planning, OA-MAI is pleased to announce today, January 22, the launch of a new, private Facebook group for OA members! The new group is a safe and private space for OA members to maintain their anonymity while still taking part in the dialogue of the social media space.

Members are welcome to use their primary Facebook profile to join the group; because the group is private, any comments or posts will only be seen by other members of this private group!

To join this new private group, please login to your Facebook account and enter the private group name in the search bar as follows: Overeaters Anonymous – Eastern Wisconsin (OA-MAI) Alternatively, join from the following link: https://www.facebook.com/groups/745234677389332/

Upon finding the group and requesting to join, you will be asked to answer three questions, and agree to the group rules. An administrator of the group will then review your answers and grant your admission to the group!

Two final notes:

The private group is administered by an OA-MAI Communications Specialist, operating under the profile “OA-MAI Communications Specialist.”

And lastly, the longstanding public Facebook page titled “Overeaters Anonymous – OA Milwaukee” will remain active! You are welcome and encouraged to maintain your activity on that page. In the coming weeks, you will see the content of that public page shift to attracting newcomers, while the content of the new private group will focus on current, active members of OA.
